Shirataki are thin, translucent, gelatinous traditional Japanese noodles made from the konjac yam (devil's tongue yam or elephant yam).
They are pure vegetable with no fat, starch or protein. They contain zero calories and are gluten free.
Just wash them out of the water that is in the box and add them to the pan for stir fry with vegetables and soy sauce!
